প্রায় ৫০০ বছরের পুরানো এই তাঁতি বাজার যা প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়েছিল ইসলাম খান চিস্তির ঢাকায় রাজধানী স্থানান্তরের মাধ্যমে। তাঁতীবাজার এলাকাটা ছিল মুসলিম কাপড় গুননের এবং বিপণনের প্রধান বাজার কালের বিবর্তন ব্রিটিশদের দখলদারিত্বের পর ঢাকায় মুসলিম কাপড় ব্যবসা ধস নামে এবং তাতিবাজার এলাকার তাঁত শিল্পীদের সমস্ত কার্যক্রম বন্ধ হয়ে যায় এবং সেখানে স্বর্ণালংকার তৈরি অভি কি প্রসার ঘটে যা আজ অব্দি চলমান রয়েছে আজ আমরা সেই তাঁতি বাজার ঘুরে দেখব কেমন আছে এখানকার পরিবেশ।
This 500-year-old Tanti Bazar was established by Islam Khan Chisti when he shifted the capital to Dhaka. The Tanti Bazar area was the main market for the production and sale of muslin cloth. Over time, after the British occupation, the muslin cloth business in Dhaka collapsed and all the activities of the weavers in the Tati Bazar area were stopped, and the production and sale of gold ornaments expanded there, which continues to this day. Today, we will visit the Tanti Bazar and see what the environment is like here.
