Goldfields Tender Briefing – Getting the most from the data

Описание: The Victorian Government is offering experienced and responsible minerals explorers the opportunity to secure minerals exploration rights to one or more of four large parcels of prospective ground within Victoria’s north central goldfields region via a competitive, merit-based tender.

Successful tenderers will gain the exclusive right to apply and be considered for a minerals exploration licence for the relevant block(s).

With an emphasis on gold exploration, the opportunity is offered to explorers who can demonstrate a history of responsible exploration and a commitment to working closely with Traditional Owner groups and local communities.

On Friday 13 December 2019 a briefing for potential tenderers was held, covering:
• The geology of the ground release area and publicly available geoscience data.
• Overview of the tender process and Q&A.
• Details of the existing land use and features within the ground release area.
• Presentations by Traditional Owners within the ground release area.
