Using nothing but similar triangles, I debunk someone's Youtube video about why the Earth is flat. Doing exercises such as these is important for students since it is easy to be fooled by claims that seem valid, but have a sneaky flaw. We want them to be both critical thinkers and to have the resources necessary to demonstrate what they believe.
