Описание: NASA's DSOC experiment achieved a historic first by streaming an ultra-high-definition video from deep space via laser. The 15-second clip, featuring a cat named Taters chasing a laser pointer, was transmitted on December 11, 2023, from almost 19 million miles away.



DSOC, part of the Psyche spacecraft launched on Oct. 13, 2023, is testing high-bandwidth optical communications on its journey to the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter.
