This is how I draft a bodice pattern for knitted fabrics. You can use it to make any top or T-shirt. The steps described are appropriate to follow for making both men's and women's bodice patterns.
This pattern-making technique is not appropriate for woven fabrics.
By following the steps in this video, you are going to make the basic pattern on top of which you can make many modifications like adding ease, changing style, adding sleeves, etc.
