Pearl Jam sold out this show in 21 minutes. After "Not For You" an exhausted Eddie says, "I'd like to talk to you all from my heart for a second... The worst 24 hours I just ever had. I had got a really bad stomach flu last night, like 3 in the morning, and I went to the emergency room this morning... I was puking and shiting and I'm just all fucked up. So I think that might be it for me for a while... Lucky for you... I think Neil Young is here so he's gonna take over for a bit... Alright? I come back again this summer... OK?", before leaving the stage. Neil Young takes the stage and the audience gets an impressive Mirror Ball premier. Towards the end, Jeff apologize for the turn of events and says that the band will try to come back, with fans booing. About 30 000 disappointed fans applied for refunds, but 20 000 more did not, and they got "first crack" at tickets for the "makeup" show at Spartan Stadium in San Jose, CA on November 4, 1995.
