On 31 March 2022, Lake District operator The Mountain Goat celebrated its 50th birthday with a recreation of its first journey from Bowness on Windermere to Glenridding. We joined driver Jim and assembled guests and media for the journey. See issue 1519 for full details of the trip and to find out more about the operator, which uses a fleet of Mercedes-Benz Sprinter-based minibuses to carry tourists across the Lakes and beyond.
