Hi,
After I've made the Secret Flat Redstone Switch fiddled around with the concept and kinda figured this one out. A secret, redstone update activated Trapdoor... you may or may not find it useful. Again, improvements are most likely possible, I'm sure, speed and sizewise.
Sorry for the long title, I am kinda unable to abridge those...

(Map just with the two things shown and nothing else. Not my whole world since some people don't have a splendid Internet Connection and 130 MB (size of my whole redstone/test world) aren't that fast to download. That's why I packed it in a whole new 30ish Kb big World)
