Many years ago, Bojack was sealed within in a star by the Four Kais as a means of preventing him from going on a rampage. Unfortunately, the seal was broken when a self-destructing Cell destroyed King Kai's planet. With Bojack now free, he interrupts the Intergalactic Martial Arts Tournament, and has his henchmen take out each fighter one by one. The Z-Fighters ban together to stop these new foes.
