DAY 1:
• Reach Rishikesh and book your hostel/hotel at Tapovan.
• Staying at Zostel/The Hosteller in Tapovan. Best area for backpackers!
• Renting a Bike/Scooty: The best way to get around.
Cost: ₹500–₹600/day (Scooty) | ₹1000 -1500 (Bikes like Himalayan).
Tip: Need original Driving License + Aadhar Card.
• Neer Garh Waterfall: A short 1.5 km trek up.
Entry Fee: ₹50 approx.
Vibe: Natural pools.
• Lunch with a View: Visiting Tattva Café, Little Buddha Cafe or The 60's Cafe (Beatles vibe!).
• Ride to Rishikesh City: Heading to the main town (approx 20 mins from Tapovan).
• Triveni Ghat Ganga Aarti: The biggest and most famous Aarti.
Timing: Reached by 5:30 PM to get a good seat. Aarti starts 6:00 PM (Winter) / 7:00 PM (Summer).
• Dinner at a local dhaba & night ride back to Tapovan.

DAY 2: Peace, Cafes & Hidden Ghats

• Morning Yoga/Chill by the river.
• Shatrughan Ghat: A peaceful, cleaner alternative to the main ghats. Located near Ram Jhula. Great for meditation and vlog shots without crowds.
• Ram Jhula & Janki Setu: Walking the iconic suspension bridges.
• Cafe Hopping: Checking out Freedom Cafe or Tattva Cafe for those Instagrammable shots.
• Beatles Ashram (Chaurasi Kutia): (Optional) If you have time, entry is ₹150 for Indians.
• Sunset at Secret Beach/Goa Beach: Exploring the white sands near the river (overcrowded on weekends)

Where I Stayed -
Location: Tapovan (Upper Tapovan is quieter/cheaper; Lower Tapovan is closer to the bridge).

• Price: I paid ₹500 for a Honda Activa (Prices hike on weekends!).
• Parking: Tapovan has street parking; near Triveni Ghat, use the official parking lot to avoid fines.

Pack With You
• Walking shoes (for Neer Waterfall trek).
• Slip-on sandals (for easy removal at temples/ghats).
• Cash (UPI works mostly, but network can be glitchy near waterfalls).
• Power bank.
