Today we celebrate the #FirstDayOfSummer with a perfect summer day and Amila's first trip to an amusement park! ☀️🎡 Amila was born with spina bifida, hydrocephalus, myelomeningocele, Chiari malformation, and clubbed feet, and suffered a grade four brain bleed during birth. After three surgeries and spending five long weeks in the NICU, she was finally able to go home in May, 2021.
"Amila has showed us there’s more to life than what we could have ever imagined," her mom, Jennah, shares. "She’s taught us to slow down and enjoy the littlest of things. She’s given us a new definition of what love truly is."
