Carter Anderson has lived a somewhat privileged life. She's had good friends, close family, and an unreal lucky streak. Along with her two best friends Minnie and Cameron, she makes up the girl band BAMF. They aren't major yet, but they have toured with The Heartless Kings and released an album that ranked number 4 on Billboard’s Hot 100. And now, they’re about to go on tour with the biggest boy band in the world. Carter's life is basically a dream that she never knew she'd had until it happened. But maybe her life isn't perfect.

There’s cuddling, interviews, cheesy movies from the 90s, and a sleepover with the least suspected leader. There’s a hook-up that doesn’t mean to him what it does to her, and an exhausted pop star that isn’t playing any games. They have grapes, cheesecakes, and another hook-up that may or may not completely ruin friendships. There are dates that don’t quite happen, but then there are dates that do. There’s a prank war with a truce, and a stubborn girl group that just doesn’t understand Carter’s mind. There are fights over popsicles and curling irons, pop stars that can't dance, songs that just won’t write themselves, and an unbelievable amount of one-sided crushes. There are emotions, arguments, drama, and an ending that changes absolutely nothing. But not necessarily in that order.
