TVK Govt Wins Confidence Motion With 144 Votes | 22 Against

Описание: The newly formed government led by Vijay has successfully won the trust vote in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly. Speaker J. C. D. Prabhakar officially announced that the TVK government secured victory in the confidence motion.

A total of 144 votes were cast in favor of the Vijay-led government, while 22 MLAs voted against it and five remained neutral. As the Assembly session began, floor leaders from various political parties expressed their views during the debate.

The Congress party, along with Communist Party of India, Communist Party of India (Marxist), VCK, IUML, and DMDK, extended full support to the Vijay government during the crucial floor test.
