Battle of Heartbreak Ridge
A total of 20-30000 soldiers mainly consisting of troops from Usa , France and South Korea , these were rotated forces so amount of soldiers at the front was about 15000
The Allied (UN) forces fought against 25000 Chinese and Noth Korean soldiers
Total for US/UN casualties are (killed, wounded, missing) Roughly 3,700–4,000
The Chinese and North Koreans
Total casualties for (killed, wounded, missing):
Approximately 10,000–12,000+
The Korean war started in June 1950 and ended in july 1953
North and South Korea are technically still at war as it was only ceasefire agreement and not a peace agreement
