The expectation of Exodus 1 is that just as God continued to bless and multiply Israel amid tremendous suffering, God would eventually work out a true deliverance of His People from bondage and affliction. Exodus 2 begins to detail the work of God to provide deliverance and a deliverer for His People

Truth #2: God’s sovereign works of salvation are designed for His glory and the good of His people.

vs.10—The Divine Origin of God’s Salvific Works (Moses’ adoption)

Truth #3: God’s sovereign works of salvation are divine in origin and unimaginable to mankind.
