In late August 2018, Jerry Douglas' main guitar "Blackie" was accidentally ejected from the hatchback of a moving vehicle.
It was sent to Beard Guitars for repair.
The unique process, by Paul Beard, was presented in 5 episodes.
This video is a compilation of them for one convenient viewing experience.
"Blackie" was hand delivered to Jerry on September 16th just in time for a show with Tommy Emmanuel.
