Darkwing Duck is a retro (classic) platform game (platformer) based on Disney television series Darkwing Duck. This old video game was developed by Capcom for Nintendo Entertainment System (NES | Famicom) console in 1992. The gameplay is typical for platformers. The player can choose from three different stages at the start of the game with another set of three stages becoming available after that. Once all six stages are clear, the player proceeds to the last level. Darkwing Duck begins with a standard gas gun and he can collect different special types of gas at each stage: Thunder, Heavy and Arrow. Each special type of gas requires different amounts of ammo and it functions differently, but the player can only have one type of special gas at a time. Picking up a different type of special gas replaces the one that Darkwing Duck currently uses. The player can freely switch between the standard and special gas. Darkwing Duck can also deflect certain projectiles with his cape. Let’s get dangerous!
