🎥 Filmed on the Stoney Nakota reservation in Morley, Alberta, the documentary uncovers over 100 years of the Stoney Nakoda people’s involvement in film and public events like Banff Indian Days and the Calgary Stampede. Cody shares insights into the making of the film, its cultural significance, and how it’s helping to reclaim historical narratives that have long been told from outside the community.

Cody, a member of the Eden Valley Bearspaw First Nation, is a powerful new voice in Indigenous cinema. Through his production company, Lefthand Films, he is creating space for authentic storytelling rooted in community, culture, and truth.
