These useful microorganisms are natural fertility adding agents.
Fertilizers have become as the most important inputs of crop production technology. Yield has become stagnant in spite of frequent use of fertilizers. Price of fertilizers has increased many fold and their frequent use has been restricted. Use of PGPR fertilizer and soil condition improving things have been advocated for the efficient use of fertilizers in this video. If soil is healthy, farmer is wealthy.
When any fertilizer is added into the soil, microorganisms act on it and make it usable for plants. Microorganisms flourish more in healthy soils having proper amounts of organic materials. Due to high temperature in summer season, most of the organic matter is burnt / depleted. Due to the shortage of organic matter and clogging of pore spaces due to salts accumulated through the unfit tube well water, microbial activity has decreased too much. This thing leads to poor performance of added fertilizer.
