Vans are for builder right ? Well that not true anymore. I had to drive up to Edinburgh to film the next Season of Cycle Sunday and collect a couple of rather special bikes. I needed something comfortable for the long journey but big enough to fit 4 bikes, 2 people and lots of filming gear. My friends at Hendy came up with the perfect solution and lent me their brand new Ford Transit MS-RT short wheel base crew cab in bright yellow !
At £60,000 it's a expensive van but during the 1000 miles we did in it I really started to get the whole van thing. Could this be a better option for an active family than an SUV ?
