Описание: A little bit of nostalgia now with a look at one of the Old Oak Common Depot open days. This is the one held on 15th September 1985, as well a vast array of traction spread about the Factory & turntable areas a steam shuttle ran up & down the yard with a DMU shuttle to & from Paddington using a specially constructed platform at the depot. The shuttle used the GWR liveried 3 car & bubble car DMUs as train 1 and one of the class 210 prototype DEMU's. These used a modified class 317 bodyshell and i seem to remember two being built by BR. They were expensive so the chaeper (very much cheaper!) Pacer's were built instead but they were too cheap so the Sprinter family was settled on as a sensible compromise. The fueling shed was out of bounds as locos were still being fuelled there and some light engine movements are seen as well.
