Correcting some information:
The flaps had been properly set for takeoff at 5°.
The fuel control switches were moved during takeoff due to unknown reason, resulting in a loss of thrust.
On 12/06/2025, Air India flight 171 crashed shortly after takeoff at Ahmedabad, India, while flying from Ahmedabad to London Gatwick. In total, 260 people were killed (including passengers and victims on the ground) and 1 passenger survived.
