In Today's video you can watch me make Osgiliath style ruins completely from scratch using some cheap foam, a cheap board, some paints and some bits and pieces you've like got laying around.
I added a lot of detail to this pieces which took it past what would be considered "good enough" for the game board, but you could choose to stop as soon as you've painted the walls.
You don't necessarily even have to base it.
