I go over the progress I have made on my South Bend 10L. In this video I go over the progress on the head stock, the outboard gear train, the front gear box, the back gears, cone pulley, spindle, gear covers and a few random parts.
This lathe has been completely torn apart and restored down to every last nut and bolt. All of the oiling wicks have been replaced. I used 2 other 10L lathes to make this one lathe. I restored the name plates too. I have several parts to refurbish yet, but I'm getting closer every day!
