We support the #blacklivesmatter movement and encourage our viewers to advocate for the oppressed and underprivileged as well. There are many different ways to show solidarity during these trying times for African Americans, and if you do not have the funds to donate, there are other ways you can help the cause. Some of these methods include participating in a peaceful protest (please remember to wear PPE and practice social distancing while doing so), educating yourself on the history of oppression and injustice that black people have faced throughout this country, from slavery to Jim Crowe laws, to police brutality that is happening today and can be traced back to practically any point in time in this country's history. Also remember to do your best to educate others, whether it be a family member, a friend, a neighbor, coworker, or whomever. A huge enemy of this cause is ignorance and prejudice, and we can no longer sit idly by and let people walk around with this hatred and bigotry in their hearts, and the crimes black people have suffered time and time again live as proof that it is time that well all step in to put a stop of this, regardless of our own personal race, age, religion, sexual orientation, or any other defining qualities. Right now we must all provide a united front for justice and equality, for if some of us aren't free, or treated equally, then none of us are.
