The Philippines has more than 7,000 islands to explore. I don't think that in someones lifetime they can imagine to see every single one but they can start with Coron. That's why I'm highlighting the best of the best of my visit to Coron. It's a destination in the Philippines that I highly recommend.
I spent a week in Coron and it exceeded my expectations as a perfect escape from Manila. With a little over an hour flight from Manila my boyfriend and I arrived in beautiful Busuanga.
Landing in Busuanga I thought I was back in the Chocolate Hills in Bohol. This island is the perfect getaway to take day trips to different islands, view the marine life, and experience true Filipino hospitality.
Getting there: Less than a two hour flight from MNL you land in Busuanga. My boyfriend and I arranged pickup from Sofia's Garden Hotel (where we stayed for 7 nights) for the transfer pickup for a nominal fee.
