Canal Walk Shopping Centre and BT Games joined forces to offer Capetonians a tantalising inside-look into the latest gaming ideas and releases that are racking up appeal around the world. The annual Gaming Expo took place at centre stage in the Centre Court on Tuesday, 23 October to Sunday, 28 October.
Gamers, eSports fans, and Cosplay enthusiasts of all ages, enjoyed 12 hours per day to immerse themselves in the latest that the industry had to offer.
Red Dead Redemption 2 launched worldwide. The new Call of Duty was also available for gamers to try out, as well as the new Xbox One X console. Other games included Formula 1 2018, Starlink, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, FIFA 19, Tom Clancy's The Division 2, Spiderman, PES 19, LEGO DC Super Villains, VR Worlds, Forza Horizon 4, Red Dead Redemption 2, Farpoint, Astro Bots, Sunion 9DVR, Just Dance 2019, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, and traditional arcade games.
Gamers experienced exhibitions and activations from BT Games, Xbox, PlayStation, LEGO Dimensions, HTC Vive, Sunion, MWEB Fibre, Wonderland, Vodacom and Fortnite. BT Games also had exclusive Expo deals on offer.
