Turebergs Leden, Solentunavägen, and Kung Agnes Väg Urban Block in Solentuna, Stockholm, Sweden

Описание: This post-modern urban block is bounded by Turebergs Leden, Solentunavägen, Kung Agnes Väg, and Cirkusgränd. It consists of a continuous urban solid mass of spatially connected 5-8 storey blocks of flats, with a large central courtyard. Balconies of the blocks of flats, overlook both the bounding roads and the courtyard. The urban block is ventilated through an air tunnel created by sets of double side balconies that connect two blocks of flats along Turebergs Leden, and a covered vented cyclists' alley along Kung Agnes Väg on the opposite side. This concept of urban block ventilation has been applied elsewhere in Stockholm, e.g, Kista.

There are no public entrances into the urban block. All entrances are private, and consist of entrances from the bounding roads to each block of flats, and the earlier mentioned cyclists' alley from Kung Agnes Väg. There are also entrances to the blocks of flats, from the courtyard. All entrances have security codes. There is a medium sized car park, in the basement of some of the blocks of flats, with vehicular entrance from Cirkusgränd. Stairways at several points, link the car park with the blocks of flats, hence the courtyard.
