This song tells the story of a Rhade husband and wife who were separated for many years because of warfare. The husband still remembers the day they were torn apart. He often wonders where his wife is and whether she is safe, because he does not know where life has taken her.
He asks himself if she still remembers him. He remembers the time they spent living together and the deep love they shared. Even after all these years, he misses her and still remembers her beauty. Through the song, he gently asks, “Do you still remember me?” Year after year, he waits, holding on to love and hope.
