Behind her marched 16 Krevar cubs — the children of a fierce warrior species nearly eight feet tall, born and raised to respect only strength and dominance. These young predators possessed natural combat instincts and razor-sharp mandibles.

Yet they obeyed the quiet human without hesitation.

No shouting.
No threats.
Just three simple words:

“Stay close.”

Moving in perfect diamond formation, the cubs followed Ria through collapsing corridors and burning hallways as explosions rocked the station. Their discipline was so precise that even hardened warriors would have been impressed.

Then they encountered the enemy.

Three Scarath raiders stepped into the corridor, weapons raised and expecting frightened prey.

Instead… they found a calm human standing before sixteen perfectly disciplined predator cubs waiting silently for her command.

Ria didn’t panic.
