4 Days of Curly Hair: How I Stretch My Curly or Wavy Wash Day and Customize My Refresh Routine

Описание: One of the hardest thing about having curly or wavy hair....is keeping it that way. So in this video, I show you my hair over the coarse of 4 days and talk about how I customize my refresh, day by day, to get the best, and healthiest results.

And to kick the video of is my (almost) 2 year old daughter doing my curly hair. I hope you enjoy.

On day 2, when my hair still looks pretty good, my default is to only fix the curls that need it by finger rolling or finger coiling. If you feel you need more product in some areas, you can add it on the specific curls. Or just add water.

On day 3, I do a refresh I learned from Curly Susie (   / curlysusie  . I take a mousse, glaze it over my hair, scrunch any areas that are not curling, and then diffuse.

On day 4, I do a full refresh where I wet my hair down, add a moisturizing product if needed (leave-in conditioner, cream or curl refresher/revitalizer), then add a hold product before diffusing.

Other tips for elongating your wash days are to make sure you're protecting your curls when sleeping and to listen to your hair.

If you are going through the transition process, refreshing can be a little harder. Your hair may just not cooperate with you. But the longer you work to make your hair healthier, the easier it will be.

My hair type is 2c/3a curls, low porosity, medium density and medium texture.
