This is my very first time doing an intermediate difficulty by myself.

I tried my best to select something that I could solo but it's difficult without much self defense items. Same building as usual and tried to select an area where I might not have a dangerous ghost. Assuming it would not go in hunt mode so quickly as long as I am careful.

I didn't realize this at the time of the playthrough but here is some slight differences between amateur vs intermediate.

Amateur only allows 5 minutes before a hunt could start, giving more time for the player(s) to setup their equipment in the house. Intermediate only allows 2 minutes before the ghost could start a hunt at anytime. Supposedly this makes it slightly more difficult

The refund if the player dies, only gains a 50% money refund base upon what the player brings with them in Amateur. While Intermediate only refunds 25% money back if the player dies. Keep in mind you lose everything too whatever you bring with except the default items will always be around regardless.

The XP gain is normal for Amateur but Intermediate can gain an additional x0.5 XP gain if the player(s) is successful.

Cash is normal earned in Amateur but Intermediate can double earn their money depending how much objectives were correct. Helps to not die too if possible so don't have to keep replenishing items. So basically same concept with XP ratio.

However, Sanity loss can decrease by 0.5% faster in Intermediate while Amateur does not do this.
