Описание: Mark Dermul, Belgian whisky blogger, tries an inaugural release from Islay. In the glass is the long-awaited first release from the youngest distillery on Islay: Ardnahoe. They certainly took their time, as they decided to bottle their first creation only after it had matured for five years (on a combination of ex-Bourbon and ex-Oloroso sherry casks). The bottle itself looks very good too. After all, aesthetics matter. But the most important thing is, of course, what’s in the glass (and this might be even more applicable to an Islay whisky than any other, given the island's cult status and its smoky whiskies).
