After weeks of ‘pleading and screaming’ finally Qld borders have fallen

Mr Murray said it never mattered that the opinion polls suggested Queenslanders supported the border closures, it was the normal people who “did nothing wrong” who had their businesses destroyed.

Qld Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk will open her state’s borders to everyone bar Victorians after months of strict coronavirus lockdown measures as she moves to stage three of her recovery plan.

People will be able to apply for a border pass on July 10 if they sign a declaration that they have not visited Victoria in a 14-day window.
