The commercial was originally aired on October 23rd,1983. It was run during a broadcast of "The Unsuspected" on WTBS The Super-station Channel 17 in Atlanta. WTBS was an independent station broadcast via satellite all over America. It was the brainchild of Ted Turner and his Turner Broadcasting Systems (the TBS in WTBS)
