Speaking on Grace Hayden's show 'Game On with Grace' about the India-Pakistan controversy during the 2025 ACC Asia Cup, all-rounder Jason Holder said, “I don't like this India-Pakistan rivalry that goes far beyond the cricket field. It's really sad. They are two powerhouses in world cricket, and look at how things have turned out. I saw India win the Asia Cup, and they didn't go to collect the trophy. I think that's going too far. These things shouldn't happen in our sport, especially if we are ambassadors of the world. We are talking about world peace, making the world a better place, so you don't want that.”

He added, “I think if it's going to change, it has to come from the people who are influential. They are both influential teams on the cricket field. Yes, a lot can happen off the field, but on the field, India and Pakistan can perhaps come together in the sport. That would be a huge thing for everything. If they can do that on the cricket field, then both countries can say, 'Look, it happens at the level of the sport, maybe we can do it at the everyday level.'” "Stop this fighting, stop this war."
