Asst. Prof Bishal Gyawali talks to ecancer at the 2022 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting about his highlights from this year's conference.
Some topics and studies that stood out this year include: PARADIGM and DYNAMIC in colorectal, dostarlimab's success in rectal cancer, nimotuzumab in GI, several key studies in breast cancer including DESTINYBreast04, and TROPiCS-02, updates on ENZAMET, adagrasib in NSCLC harbouring a KRASG12C mutation, 177Lu-PSMA vs cabazitaxel in mCRPC and the rEEcur study showing a new standard of care in Ewing sarcoma.
Affordability of cancer drugs worldwide has also been a key theme for ASCO 2022 and Dr Bishal finishes with his thoughts on this.
