Overall, this game is an absolute blast, can't really say if I prefer it to Dead or Alive 2 Ultimate or not, they are probably neck and neck. The stages in this game are fantastic. The Hong Kong skyscrapper stage is probably the best looking stage in the series and is very interactive which ups it even further. Both window destructions, one leading to the outside streets and the other to a basement lab - pure design genius.

The AI in this game however is lacking, for the story mode anyway. I had to up it to very hard to get a level of engagement I desired, this difficulty is probably equivalent to doa2 on hard in the early stages and doa4 on normal mode on the early stages.

Again like with 2, Tina is is my personal favorite character - this time with AIR THROWS!!! Ground throws are good too but makes charaters like Tina and Leon seem a tad bit op when compared to the rest of the cast. This game also introduces two new characters that are probably my two other favorites: Brad Wong and Christie. Their combos are fantastic and Christie is probably the best fit for how I play the game - Aggressive. Brad Wong is the coolest character in the game, the funniest and most satisfying for trying out a whole new style, he is a more advanced character however.

The CG cinematics that this game adds are gorgeous and makes me miss this era of games even more, always been a fan of CG cinematics and these look fantastic, just wish they had more story context.
