Australian dance music royalty PNAU have tapped rising Australian-Lebanese producer Tobiahs to remix their latest single ‘River’ featuring Ladyhawke. Tobiahs has flipped ‘River’ into a dark and brooding journey through melodic techno, which PNAU recently premiered in their Sunset Piazza DJ set in Sydney.


On remixing ‘River’, Tobiahs said, “I’m so grateful to PNAU for the opportunity to showcase a side to my project that I haven’t been able to release yet. I’ve taken my time with releasing more club driven works even though I’m so passionate about that world, and I’m glad to positively contribute to this sound with my take on ‘River’.”


At only 21 years of age, Tobiahs skilfully blends elements of pop within house, techno and garage to deliver his unique vision of lyric-driven dance music. Initially gaining attention from the likes of What So Not and Hayden James through a series of remixes shared online, his debut single ‘Through To You’, a garage-inspired story of troubled relationships, was released in 2017 to critical acclaim and has since garnered millions of streams.


The Tobiahs remix is the first of a series of ‘River’ remixes set to drop over the coming weeks – stay tuned for further remixes from the likes of Alice Ivy, Airwolf and Jack Burton.
