First of all, my apologies - my aging rig doesn't allow me to play at the highest settings, and this is thus not a faithful representation of how gorgeous this game is. But good lord, is it ever so fun.
I've been following Project Wingman from its very inception, and it warms my heart to see how far -and how well - it has come. I'll be giving some focused feedback on it later, but for now I'll say the gameplay is becoming ever better, and this mission is absolutely spectacular. Take notes, PA: this is how you do combined arms in an arcade flight game.
