India Food Expo (IFX) is India’s leading exhibition dedicated to the food processing and allied industries.

With growing urbanization, rising disposable incomes, and increased demand for packaged, organic, and ready-to-eat foods, India is emerging as a global hub for food innovation. By 2030, Indian household consumption is expected to triple, making the country the fifth-largest consumer market worldwide.

The State of Uttar Pradesh (UP) plays a pivotal role in India’s agri-food value chain.
It is the nation’s largest producer of wheat, mango, potato, peas, gooseberry, and watermelon, and a key center for processing fruits & vegetables, dairy, poultry, sugar, rice, meat, confectionery, and snack foods.

Under the Food Processing Policy 2023, the Government of Uttar Pradesh aims to increase the level of value addition in agri-produce from 6 % to 20 %, offering attractive incentives for investment in food processing, cold chain, logistics, and R&D infrastructure.
With its vision of contributing to a US $ 1 trillion state economy by 2027, UP presents immense opportunities for entrepreneurs, investors, and technology providers.
