First time covering Hades music on the channel!

Sorry about the delay in video uploads. I burnt myself out a bit from working so hard on the Mario Kart World "Rainbow Road" cover and needed a bit of time to recharge. But I'm back now!

I played a lot of Hades II during the holidays and I felt like covering something from it for the channel! The songs that play during the battle against Scylla were definitely the highlight of the soundtrack for me which is why I chose to do "Coral Crown" this week.

Everybody already covered this song with a vocalist and I didn't want my cover to sound the same so I opted for an instrumental arrangement. The original track has that spooky vibe to it already so I added pipe organ, tubular bells, and strings to it and I was amazed by how well it worked out! In a way, since they're both beings of the sea, it reminded me of Davy Jones' pipe organ from the Pirates movies, which I thought was fitting.

This cover was a fun experiment as I got to make it sound quite heavy with 6-string guitars turned in E standard. Some of the parts that you hear are just my normal guitar sound but I layered in some guitars that went into an octaver pedal to pitch them down an octave. Carefully mixing both together, I was able to make it sound the way it does here.
