I have been excited about this game since it was first announced and have been on the edge of my seat waiting to tackle a new adventure by the dudes behind Banjo Kazooie. I just finished the story about a week ago and decided rather than try to choose a single song to cover, I'd do a full medley with all the worlds in it since I couldn't decide which one I liked best! Grant Kirkhope absolutely slayed the core tracks for this game and I knew the second I heard the goofy brass of World 1 that it wouldn't be long until I was inevitably playing it on my guitar. David Wise and Steve Burke also did a phenomenal job and I hope in the future to take on some of those tracks but I definitely wanted to really get my feet wet with the new Kirkhope tracks. There was some challenging chords to pick out and I went for as accurate as I could, but I think I did a pretty decent job only giving myself a week to nail this!

Of course the comments are going to reflect all of the poor reviews and opinions of the people who were disappointed with the game. I hope that doing this medley and really busting my ass on it is a showcase that though I have been focusing on newer games lately, my heart still lies with doing the music that I want rather than trying to appeal to the masses. I enjoyed Yooka-Laylee a lot, and even though I agree that it did have it's problems, the soundtrack really struck with me and I wanted to do this out of my love for Grant's music and the team behind the game bringing a wonderfully enormous collectathon. Thank you Playtonic and I really hope you guys continue making games forever. I will always be a lifelong and die-hard fan of the work you guys do.
