Mayibuye Afrika Concert 2024 - Celebrating 30 S.A Years of Democracy and Africa Day

Описание: Mayibuye iAfrika Concert, is a much needed annual concert conceived by renowned guitarist, author, composer, and producer Billy Monama. This project is a musical commemoration of South African culture, history and its composers with the aim of promoting: Cross-African cultural understanding, African pride, we aim to revive ubuntu and grow awareness of the collective South African story telling our memory through music.

2024 concert was to help us reflect as a nation during the 30th year anniversary of democracy and celebration of Africa month in South Africa.
2024 lineup also featured South African prolific artists; Mahotella Queens, Hotstix Mabuse, Simphiwe Dana, Femi Koya (Nigeria) Hope Masike (Zimbabwe) Alhadgi Ngong (Senegal) and Siphokazi.
