Who said roots music can't ever be cutting-edge? While the Dawn Brothers embrace an authentic old school approach in music, these players are focused firmly on the present and the future. They are well-kown in the Dutch americana & roots scene for their soulful roots rock. Inspired by bands such as Little Feat, CCR and The Band, the quartet sounds like a classic car, but one with a modern engine and with a view to the future. Live, the band forms a smooth-running roots machine that is impossible to stop. During their show at the Ramblin' Roots festival they performed songs of their new released album Dusk and even Ian Siegal appeared on stage to play along with the band.

The Ramblin' Roots festival is all about authentic contemporary soul, Americana, blues, country, roots rock and related music styles. During the 7th edition our venue was filled with artists like: Dayna Kurtz, the Dawn Brothers, Jo Harman, Ian Siegal & Diana Jones.
