Canada PM France Visit: New Canadian PM Mark Carney visits Notre-Dame Cathedral of Paris

Описание: Canadian PM Mark Carney on March 17 visited Notre-Dame Cathedral of Paris during his first international trip as prime minister. The Canadian PM and his economist wife, Diana Fox Carney, were given a tour of the Parisian cathedral that was reopened in December 2024. Notably, the Cathedral was reopened after nearly five and a half years after a catastrophic fire nearly destroyed the historic landmark. The Canadian premier will also travel to London and Iqaluit this week in order to "strengthen" his nation's relationship with its closest allies. Carney was sworn in as prime minister of Canada on March 14.
