Card 17: The Star — Hope

Описание: At Card 16, The Tower, a bolt of lightening destroyed all form built and relied upon, releasing the clear light within -- The Star. We are truly in a position now, to reconnect to the essence, the real inner meaning, of whatever brought us to this path of Initiation -- whether it was a goal, or a dream, or a plan. No matter what it is, its essence is light -- and that light is both something we look to for guidance and hope -- and it is within. Just as the stars are "out there" and "in here" -- inside us, since all matter in the universe, including us, is truly the "stuff of stars." All elements -everything that exists -- including ourselves, carbon-based being -- are the stuff of stars. Today, we reconnect to our guiding force - to hope, inspiration, and most of all, to love -- the essence of that light. We choose to reconnect to that, and to nourish our ability to believe. What if that's too difficult? Then, as the Tibetan Buddhist tradition says -- we "Start where we are," looking at, seeing, and accepting ourselves, AS we are, not as we imagine we should be or will be. This is actually a very deep level of connection to the light. However we do it -- today, we look to whatever brings us closer to the light -- to the vastness of all that is, even if we start with something very small.
