Ingredients:
50 gm Masoor dal
50 gm Moong Dal
250 gm Palak (Spinach)
2 Tbsp Mustard Oil
2 Dry Chillies
1/4 spoon Cumin seeds
1 spoon Chopped Garlic
1 spoon Chopped Ginger
1 medium Chopped Onion
1/4 spoon Turmeric powder
1/4 spoon Kashmiri Lal Mirch powder
Salt, as per taste
1 spoon Ghee
1 medium Chopped Tomato
Instructions:
1. Wash and soak lentils for 30 minutes. Drain and set aside.
2. Heat mustard oil, add cumin seeds, dry chillies, and sauté chopped onion till golden.
3. Add chopped garlic and ginger, sauté till fragrant.
4. Add chopped tomato and cook till soft.
5. Add turmeric powder, Kashmiri Lal Mirch powder, and salt. Mix well.
6. Add soaked lentils and 2 cups water. Pressure cook for 3-4 whistles.
7. Add chopped palak and cook for 5 minutes.
8. Garnish with ghee and serve hot with rice or roti! 🍚
Tips & Variations:
Use fresh palak for the best flavor.
Adjust spice levels as per your taste.
Add a squeeze of lemon juice for extra zing!
