So my next objective was to get palm muting right. Decided to try and learn Holy Diver by Dio. But man it’s been 3 weeks, and I’ve been humbled 😅

I’ve got all the sections down, but I just can’t get the transitions right. It’s been 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘𝐘𝐘𝐘𝐘𝐘 frustrating. I’ve reached one of those plateau moments!! And now I can see why people quit learning to play the guitar in the early stages

On the piano you can just slow things down by playing at a slow tempo and work your way up. On the guitar? THAT JUST DOESN”T WORK FOR ME!! and apparently my hands didn’t get that memo 😂

So I decided to switch to something easier for a bit - and realized something cool: practising (more like fighting) through Holy Diver actually leveled up my playing. I ended up learning Rock You Like A Hurricane in one Saturday evening sitting. ONE.
Super motivating!
