What is a thought loop and how do you get out of them? Do you ever get stuck in a thought loops/spirals and you struggle to get out of the same thoughts? The technical term of this is called a rumination and it is uncomfortable and can cause emotional distress. We think we are seeking solutions to the problem, but what we are actually doing is staying in the feelings and mood brought on by the situation. In this video I discuss why we do this, ways to get ourselves unstuck from these spirals, and tips to seek solutions rather than staying in the feelings that come from the thought loops.
